Google test
Go to Google Books, type in “manskin indians” and carefully
look at the hits.
You will see that almost all of the hits
reference the fact that “Manskin” is a misspelling of “Manakin” or “Monocan” and that it was
erroniously located or it was a misprint.
Try it
The most telling is that the Google
search engine has seen this the word “Manskin” coorelated with “Manakin” so many times that it even asks
“Did you mean Manakin Indians”
So obvious that even a bot has figured it out!
