In 1728 Peter Vander Aa shows the Youthtanunds on the South bank of the Pamunkey
and Pamaukee on the North bank, all in compliance with John Smiths description in “General Historie.”
The Youthtanund more often appear farther up the river than the Manskin. As a note, I have never seen both Youghtanund and Manskin in the same map. This could indicate that the Youghanund and the Manskin could be the same or combined.
