Manskin Indians living on Guttins Ile
1670 Herman
1754 John Gibson
Cartographers put Manskin Indians as living on Guttins Isle for 80 years after the time they left the island and the Goodwins moved in. This was because the Opechancanough, who was a Manskin and lived on “The island” was the mastermind behind the Massacre of 1644 and this was a big event at that time.
